How Ordering Works

Rooted in memory. Crafted to last.

Every piece is handmade to order in our small Minnesota studio, one at a time and with a lot of care. Here's what to know so your keepsake arrives just the way you're hoping.

Turnaround time

Because each piece is made just for you, please allow up to two weeks for crafting, plus shipping time. If you have a baptism, wedding, closing, or birthday coming up, ordering ahead is always a good idea — and if you're unsure whether something will arrive in time, just ask.

Need it sooner? Rush orders

If you need your order finished in under two weeks, reach out before ordering so we can make sure it's possible. Rush orders carry a 10% expedited fee, unless we've already worked something out together.

Personalization

Many pieces are personalized with a name, date, or verse. Please double-check your spelling and dates when you order — I make each piece exactly as entered. If anything looks unclear, I'll always reach out before I begin.

Custom and new designs

Don't see your lake, or have an idea of your own? I'd love to help. New lakes and custom designs may need a little extra design time before crafting begins, and I'll let you know what's possible before we start.

Every piece is one of a kind

These are made from real wood, so natural variations in grain, color, and knots are part of the charm — no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Changes and cancellations

Since everything is personalized and made to order, please reach out as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Once crafting has begun, changes may not be possible.

Shipping

Orders ship within the United States once crafted, and you'll receive tracking when your piece is on its way. [April — update this line with your shipping method and any details you'd like.]

Returns and damaged items

Because each piece is personalized and made to order, they generally can't be returned or exchanged. That said, your happiness matters to me — if your order arrives damaged, please send a photo within a few days of delivery and I'll make it right.
